Diamond Color, Diamond Clarity

This diamond is still not noticeably yellowing, despite having a diamond color rated at I.

The diamond clarity of VS2 is right on the money, as this diamond is eye-clean.

This diamond has no fluorescence, and the diamond girdle is exactly where I like it, listed at medium to slightly thick, meaning it will not chip easily as thinner girdles sometimes do.

Today’s recommended diamond is the best Asscher cut diamond for a $10,000 budget.

The recommended diamond is this 2.21 carat diamond, with K color and SI2 clarity. The diamond is a Premium cut Asscher diamond, and it sells for $9,750.

The truth is that there is little that is particularly appealing about this diamond, but the little that is appealing makes it a great buy. The diamond has a diamond color rated at K, which is at the end of the colorless spectrum. At K the yellowish is noticeably visible, and with Asscher cut diamond the color is even more exposed. That being said, this diamond is not overly yellow for the rating, so the K rating is not so bad.

The diamond clarity is rated at SI2, which is higher than I usually go. The diamond is reasonably eye clean, with just a few spots noticeable, and they are not dominant. For a diamond clarity rating of SI2, this diamond is pretty clean.

The diamond has medium level of fluorescence, which some people do not like. I don’t consider it a factor, as it does not detract from the beauty of the diamond. It should not cause the price to rise or decrease in my opinion.

What is special about this diamond is that because of the other factors, the K and the SI2 ratings, is that this diamond is particularly large for this range, and is priced well, at below $10k.

Best Round Diamond For $20000 Budget

Posted by: | Comments (0)

Today’s diamond recommendation will be for the best Round diamond for a $20,000 budget.

The recommended diamond is this 2.11 carat diamond, with I color and VS2 clarity. The diamond is an Ideal cut Round diamond, and it sells for $19,480.

This diamond has some inclusions, but they are not going to be visible to the naked eye.

The diamond also has strong fluorescence. There are different opinions regarding fluorescence and how to relate to it. Personally, I am ambivalent to the fluorescence and consider it a non-factor. Some people like it, thinking it makes the diamond special. Others avoid it, considering it a flaw. I think fluorescence is a non-factor as it does not affect how the diamond looks.
